REVIEWS: TENASTELIN & TNT ROOTS (Earthquake) - Encounter 1: Cosmic Intervention (Intrepid Vibes)

Pure vibes all through. A minor UK-roots masterpiece that comes in a showcase format, vocal followed by dub. Tena Stelin´s sufferer-style of singing suites TNT Roots riddims just perfectly. As TNT Roots builds up a mystical landscape of drum and basslines Tena joins in with his equally mystical lyrics of innerpeace (Peace with Jah), unification ("Cosmic Intervention") and the strength Jah vibes giveth man ("More Power").

The set ends up with two dub pieces which got Tena´s voice dropping in and out in a dubwise manner. Knowing this is the first encounter as the title tells us I can only hope it wont take too long before Tena Stelin and TNT Roots join forces once again and delievers a second chapter for our musical plessure.
