On Friday the 16:th of May we host our first Revival Night session at Restaurang IN. We'll bring parts of the sound with us considering its a smaller venue. It will be oldies but goldies all night, roots and dub from the 60-70-80:s. As mentioned the venue is smaller than the ones we usually use so the vibes will be more intense and intimate. We'll run a nice warm up selection of what to come on mondays Israel Vibration concert where we'll be selecting before and after the show at Kägelbanan (Stockholm) in co-op with Soundkilla crew who's behind the whole event. Club Traffic has invited Tesfa Sound System to hold the fort for roots and dub music in one of the three rooms at the Allhuset venue in Universitetet. Mainfloor showcases dnb with the likes of Klute (UK), Upbeats (NZ) alongside Systematic, Limbz and MC Shnek (A). Second room is dedicated to dubstep with L-Wiz, Trickykid, Gena and Irk on the decks. In the third room Tesfa will be dropping the sweetest roots and the deepest dub from past to present on their own sound system. A night featuring all different styles of drum and bass music. Tesfa Sound System is back for another session on saturday the 18:th of August at the venue Fabriken in Gullmarsplan (Stockholm) with the best in modern and revival roots & dub along with fresh unreleased and exclusive dubs from Swedish yard and abroad. With us this time around we have roots singer Jah Zebi who will feature live on the mic. You might know Jah Zebi from his works with UK dub outfit Alpha & Omega, “Big Up The Righteousness”, as with Swedish dub phenomenons Shiloh Ites, “Soldier”, and Dub Tribulation, “Herbal Meditation/Pure and Clean”.

Jah Zebi began his musical journey by singing lead and playing guitar in the High Valley Band who’ve supported such acts as Sister Carol and Ras Daniel Ray among others. Currently Jah Zebi is working on a number of songs with people like Gihon Roots, Dub Tribulation, Finn The Giant, Shiloh Ites, Truzd and Slimmah Sound, not to forget his own solo project due to be released on his own label King Alpha Records. During the night a number of songs Jah Zebi has been working on with producer Truzd (of Guidelight Movement) will be played out officially for the first time. Some crucial rhythms for sure. Jah Zebi is talented singer so expect serious vibes on this late night session with Tesfa Sound System.

Just like last time Tesfa Sound System will bring their full set containing of 15 pieces of boxes to the venue, so the fullness of the music and vibes will reach out properly to the people. So we invite you all to come and rock to Jah music with us on this satuday the 18:th of August. Don’t forget your dancing shoes! See you there good people.

Tesfa Sound System proudly presents Shiloh Ites and singer Jah Melodie (NL) in session with yours truly on saturday the 28:th of July at our new venue Fabriken here in Stochkolm Sweden. This time playing on full set! Eight boxes of bass pressure.

Shiloh Ites has been active as producer on the digi roots and dub scene for a numerous of years. Under the early years going under the guise of Iyah One, of the King Shiloh crew. Iyah One is the man behind the sound system classic "Hallelujah To The King" as sung by Dezzi-D and has lately been working with South African singer Zoro, Swedish roots singer Jah Zebi of the High Valley Band, Errol Bellot of the Jah Tubbys crew, as for the ever talented Lyrical Benjie of the King Shiloh crew and the upcoming and very promising "singerman" Jah Melodie, among others. Shiloh Ites productions can best be described as a deply meditative rockers groove with thunderous basslines making it perfect for sound system play.

As Shiloh Ites Jah Melodie also been around for years but its just lately that the public has been blessed with a string of good releases from the man who used to go under the name of Bagga-T. Jah Melodie is a singer of the old tradition working alot with harmonies and thoughtful lyrics instead of nonsense and aggressive chatter. In the early days you could catch him occasionally sharing the mic with Lyrical Benjie on the King Shiloh Sound System in Holland. Before his first official release in 2005, with "Behold" on Lionyouths Music, you could hear dubplate material of his on various roots and dub sound systems in Europe. Currently he's gaining succes with his latest release, "Love Fire Burning", on Bush And Shadow Records who had to press new copies due to the first batch being sold out.

It is with great joy we can present these two good brethrens in session with us, Tesfa Sound System, on the night of mention. This will be a serious session full of vibes as it will feature the best of our own selection as for new and unreleased dubplate material from Shiloh Ites with Jah Melodie holding the mic together with Jakob from Tesfa. Now as this wasn't enough we will bring our full sound system this time around so the fullness of Jah musical vibes will last all night. A night to remember so make it a date and dont be late!

Tesfa Sound System - Live in Session:
On saturday the 16:th of June Tesfa Sound System will hold their first solo session in long time at the new venue Fabriken at Gullmarsplan, Stockholm. As always it will be a night of heavy weight roots rocking and deep dub stepping til the late hours. The new venue is a little smaller than the last one so reach early to get a safe entry. A good choice of upliftment for all brethrens and sistrens after a hard working week.

On friday the 15:th of December Tesfa Sound System will be holding their second dance at Dieselverkstaden Bar & Matsal in Sickla (just 5 minutes away by bus/train from Slussen). The sound will be up and running from 21 to 03, providing serious upliftment through the musical powers of roots and dub music. Brethren Jah Zebi will most likely pass through and touch the mic as well. Good vibes altogether when Tesfa play!

Dance called Roots Gathering featuring two full sound systems in one venue!

On saturday the 25:th a dance called Roots Gathering will take place in Uppsala Sweden. For the event two sound systems have come together to play side by side in a unity style. In one corner we got Uppsala dub rockers Jah Massive Sound System, alongside singer Jah Zebi from High Valley Band, and in the other we got the newly founded Tesfa Sound System from Stockholm supplying musical upliftment to one and all. Both crews will be bringing their own sound system to the venue making this event one you don't want to miss since there's not many of these events happening in Sweden. Tesfa has been invited to play a set of roots & dubwise music at Club Reggaeology which is held at Stampen in Gamla Stan Stockholm. Brethren Jah Zebi will also be present on the mic promoting his new release "Soldier" and more. The Reggaeology crew with mic men/woman will of course be present as well showering you with old and new rubadub. So come dance and rejoice in His name.
